Public relations strategies that shape policy.
Creating a public relations program that helps a group affect public
policy is a difficult task. But we've been successful whether working
in generating grassroots support for open space protection, alerting the
[public to emerging environmental health concerns , generating public
support for the arts or helping people living with HIV/AIDS affect the
public policy that shapes their lives.
Environmental Protection:
We've helped Environment and Human Health, Inc. reshape policy by
conducting media conferences at the State Capitol to tell people of our
client's groundbreaking environmental research.
Arts Programs:
Helped the Connecticut
Commission on the Arts improve promotion of the arts, increase coverage
of Arts Day at the Capitol and broadened understanding of the the
economic benefit of the arts in that state.
AIDS/HIV Policy Participation:
Other times, as with the New Haven Mayor's
Task Force on AIDS, we work with media relations and other forms of
communication to promote health policy awareness.
Relevant examples of our work:
• Helping people living with HIV/AIDS • CT Arts Commission • A Home for the Homeless •
